Your name and badges

The top of your listing. Everything here shows in the first thing an owner sees.

Your logo

Shows on your listing and next to your name in the results. Without one, owners see your initials in a circle. A square image works best, JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 2MB.

Use your own logo. A manufacturer badge or somebody else's mark will be taken down, since it suggests an approval you may not have.

Your reviews elsewhere

Google will not hand us the reviews of a business that hides its address, which is most mobile technicians. So paste the link to your reviews and tell us the numbers. They show on your listing the moment you save. We check them against your page now and then, and a rating changes as reviews come in, so keep them current.

If your reviews are in more than one place, add each one. Your listing leads with whichever has the most reviews, so a Google Business Profile you are still building takes over on its own once it passes the others.

Paste links however they come. We take off the bits that are tied to your own account, which would otherwise send people to a sign in screen instead of your reviews. It is still worth opening your own link in a private window once, to see what a stranger sees.

Do you go to them, or do they come to you?
What kind of work do you take?

Add or drop these any time. A tech who picks up inspections later just ticks the box.

About the owner

These show as badges on your listing exactly as you tick them. We take your word for these and do not ask for proof, so please tick only what is true.

Warranty work

How owners reach you

The buttons on your listing. This is what happens when somebody taps one.

What you charge

Shown on your listing under this same heading.

Technician rates

Owners see these before they pick up the phone, and the listing that says what it costs is the one that gets called. A box left empty shows as "not listed", which owners read as a gap. If you do not charge one, tick the box under it and your listing says so in plain words instead.

The least you charge for labor once you are there, even if the job takes ten minutes. It is on top of the call out fee. Leave it blank if you charge by the hour from the first minute.

Mileage

What you charge to travel, whatever the work is. Owners see this on your listing, and past your free miles it is what the drive costs them.

Leave a box empty only if you would rather not say. Owners see "not listed" and most take it as a reason to call somebody else.

When you work

A guide for owners, not a promise, the same as your rates. Tap the days you work and set your hours. Leave it blank and nothing shows.

Areas you cover

Drag the pin to move it, and set how far you travel. If a circle promises the wrong thing, draw the area instead. Saving also counts as confirming your area, so it stays live on the map.

Tap the map where the edge of your area should go. Each tap drops a corner, and you can drag a corner to move it. Pinch to zoom. Six to twelve corners is plenty.

Rigs and work

Shown on your listing under this same heading. Owners can filter the map to any one kind of work, so every box you tick below is a search you appear in, and every box you leave alone is one you do not.

Rigs you work on
Work you do
Work you do not do

This shows on your listing so nobody calls you about it.

What you hold

These show on your listing straight away so owners can see what you hold rather than take our word for it. Add a photo of the certificate if you want them to be able to look at it. Somebody here reads through new ones within a day and will get in touch if anything needs a question.

Add as many as you like. They appear on your listing in the order you add them, so put the ones customers actually ask about first. Somebody deciding who to call reads the first two or three and stops, and fifteen certificates with the important one buried at the bottom does you less good than three at the top.

Anything with an expiry date comes off your listing by itself when that date passes, so nothing out of date sits there making a promise you cannot keep. A photo straight off your phone is fine, including an iPhone one: it is shrunk to a readable size before it is sent, so you do not have to. A PDF should be under 5MB.

+ Add a certification or license

Without a document this shows as something you say you hold, which is still worth having. Owners looking for it still find you and can ring you to check. What it will not do is earn the verified badge, because there is nothing for anybody here to check it against.

Plenty of certificates never expire, and a blank box is the right answer for those. If yours does carry an expiry date, put it in and the credential comes off your listing by itself on the day, so nothing sits there making a promise you cannot keep.

About

The last thing an owner reads before deciding.

Find you online

Where else can owners find you?

Leave any of these blank. Paste the address of your page.

Anywhere else

BBB, your Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, a club, a trade association, a review site we do not list. Write the name owners will recognise and paste the address. Up to six.

These are links, and they show as links under Find them online. They do not put a badge on your listing. Certificates and licences go under What you hold, and only a document we have looked at earns the Verified badge.

Your link and QR code

You get two links, and they are not the same thing. Both are public and both are for customers. They just get used by different people.

1. Your listing on the map

This is for somebody already on our site. They look at the map, tap your pin, read your rates and call you. Your phone number sits behind a tap here, and there is a limit on how many a person can look at in a day, so nobody can grab every number on this site at once.

This link never changes, even if you move. Florida to Mississippi and it still finds you, which is why it is the safe one to print on a truck or a card.

Big enough for the side of a truck. Anyone who scans it lands on your listing.

PNG is fine for a website or a business card. Give the SVG to a wrap shop or a printer, since it stays sharp at any size.

Email and billing

Cancelling takes one click and we will not put you through a phone call to do it. Your listing stays up until the end of what you already paid for. Anything else, write to support@yellowpagesrv.com.

Passkeys

Sign in with your face, fingerprint or device PIN instead of an email. One per phone or laptop. Your email link and code keep working whatever is here.

Not inside Facebook's or Instagram's own browser: open yellowpagesrv.com in Safari or Chrome first. Do not add one on a shared computer, since anybody who can unlock it could then open your profile.
